Manual of Labor Units Seeking Member Participation 

NECA relies on the expertise of our members to develop the Manual of Labor Units. The MLU Task Force is seeking additional members to broaden representation and guide the Manual into its second century. Ideal candidates have experience estimating electrical equipment and documenting actual labor hours for installing electrical and communications systems. Members actively review and draft content for the Manual. Each revision cycle includes one in-person meeting, conference calls, and assigned “homework.”

Google.org Supports etA with $400,000 Across Indiana

Google.org is investing $400,000 to partner with NECA, IBEW and electrical training ALLIANCE to expand electrical apprenticeship training programs across Indiana (Electrical Training Institute of Indianapolis, Electrical JATC of Northern Indiana, and Fort Wayne Electrical JATC) with a goal of adding 524 new electricians by 2030.
