Manual of Labor Units Seeking Member Participation
NECA relies on the expertise of our members to develop the Manual of Labor Units. The MLU Task Force is seeking additional members to broaden representation and guide the Manual into its second century. Ideal candidates have experience estimating electrical equipment and documenting actual labor hours for installing electrical and communications systems. Members actively review and draft content for the Manual. Each revision cycle includes one in-person meeting, conference calls, and assigned “homework.”
In this edition of Inside Washington, you’ll find government affairs highlights from NECA 2025 Chicago, including NECAPAC Sweepstakes winners, recognition of our generous contributors, and an update on the Chairman’s Challenge.
