OSHA Reveals Its Proposed Indoor and Outdoor Heat Illness Prevention Rule
NECA Members,
Just in time for the Fourth of July, OSHA has released it Proposed final rule for Indoor and Outdoor Heat Illness and Injury, Prevention Program. This rule, however, does not provide a separate consideration for the Construction Industry and NECA will be working with our other trades associations, the Small Business Administration and the Construction Industry Safety Coalition to provide comments on why our construction industry, especially the electrical and utility line construction industry, needs to have specific provisions to address the work being performed. Please view the proposed final rule and other important information at the following links.
