DOE 'Road Maps' Aimed to Gain Billions in Clean Energy Investments
The U.S. Energy Dept. kicked off its effort to fast-track commercialization of clean energy technologies, issuing “road maps” for public and private investors advancing three promising ones—clean hydrogen, long duration energy storage and advanced nuclear power. DOE also issued sobering estimates that development and deployment could cost more than $300 billion by 2030 and more than $1.2 trillion by 2050. ENR
Labor Department seeks to diversify workforce on megaprojects

NECA Seeks Input on NECA 2023 Financial Benchmarker Report

NECA and CFMA are teaming up again to develop the Financial Benchmarker report. The report provides an in-depth analysis of key financial data and provides an industry standard that can be used for change order negotiations, audits, claims and more. Mike Starner's Monthly Message to District 10

Recently, I participated in a volunteer project that presented various logistical and technical challenges for the group. We were tasked with helping contractors install a solar array and associated equipment. The worksite was in a remote location, staffed by volunteers, and all materials and tools would be sourced on-site. Having worked in construction my whole life, I felt like I was prepared for anything that may pop up during the project and as a safety professional, I felt I was well equipped to anticipate, identify, and resolve any problems we might encounter.
