NECA has developed a guide to assist employers who use construction forklifts in the course of their work. The NECA Guide to Forklift Operations, 5130-22PDF provides an overview of the types of forklifts and the maintenance and operational characteristics that must be considered when using a forklift of any type on the job. It also provides information on training requirements, operator evaluations and pre-use inspection checklists. A digital resource kit is available that includes a training PowerPoint under 5130-22DRK.

The NECA Guide to ATV Operations, 5131-22PDF provides procedures for pre-operation inspections, proper operating procedures and employer training requirements.
