Eli Lilly announced plans to invest more than $6 billion to build a manufacturing plant in Huntsville, Alabama, focused on weight loss medications and other pharmaceutical ingredients. The factory is expected to bring 450 jobs to the area, including engineers, scientists, operations personnel and lab technicians.
