Join us August 5th for our next Standards and Safety webinar.
Next Wednesday at 2 PM, NECA presents Jim Dollard, NFPA 70E Technical Committee member to discuss the NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace and address Risk Assessments for three electrical hazards including shock, arc flash and arc blast. NFPA 70E requires that risk assessments to be performed to identify any electrical hazards. This information is necessary when making determinations related to performing justified energized work. Risk assessments also utilize the hierarchy of risk control methods in the determination of the required levels of personal protective equipment (PPE) and assist the Qualified Person in establishing an Electrical Safe Work Condition, (ESWC).
