NECA announced it has named Tracy Landers as Field Representative, District 3, effective January 1.
Since 2005, Landers has served as the Executive Director of the Gulf Coast Chapter, NECA, working as the Executive Secretary for the Board of Directors. The Chapter consists of six divisions across the states of Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. He also currently serves as a trustee on two health plans and three pension plans.
Landers started his career as an Apprentice in the Montgomery Electrical JATC, completing the program in 1992 at the top of his class. Beginning in 1994, Landers worked as an Assistant Business Manager at IBEW Local Union 443, based in Montgomery, Alabama. During this time he served as the Training Director and instructed apprentices for the Montgomery Electrical JATC. From 1999 to 2004, he became Business Manager and Financial Secretary of IBEW Local 443, serving two terms before starting at the local NECA Chapter.
“Tracy Landers has been a central figure in the electrical construction his entire career, and has been deeply entrenched in this region, bringing decades of expertise to his new role as District 3 Field Representative,” said Kevin Tighe, NECA Vice President of Labor Relations and Field Service. “His record of fostering productive relationships between labor and management will make him a valuable resource for our Chapters and Members throughout District 3.”
