On Wednesday, the President announced the American Families Plan. This plan consists of about $1.8 trillion dollars of aid and tax credits to Americans on topics ranging from community college access, to the Child Tax Credit and Paid Family Medical Leave. The President plans to increase individual taxes to the Bush-era levels for the anyone making over $400,000 per year while keeping taxes level for those who make less.
