Innovation Institute Visits Southwire HQ
The Edison Cohort of the NECA Innovation Institute just completed their December program review at Southwire HQ with a site tour at Allison-Smith Company!
NECA's Innovation Institute is designed to elevate innovators and leaders in the electrical construction industry. This one-year professional training program empowers participants to become visionary thinkers with the execution skills needed for practical deployment.
OSHA is interested in obtaining additional information about the extent/nature of hazardous heat in the workplace, the nature/effectiveness of interventions, and controls used to prevent heat illness. Recommendations should account for indoor and outdoor work environments and businesses of all different sizes. We are asking our NECA members to participate in the rule making process by responding to a Heat Illness and Injury Survey. Responses will be used to develop meaningful public comments to OSHA. This process helps to ensure our industry is adequately represented as new regulation is developed.
