NECA and CMR have been working together diligently to accommodate our Chapters to the best of our ability.   Thank you for your attention to your housing requests this year. As noted for the past few years, housing assignments are getting increasingly more complex as attendance grows. This year, we were able to keep all chapters assigned within their top 4 choices.   As a reminder, this year we will be continuing with many of the operational enhancements we implemented in 2021 with several new changes to ensure a fair and equitable system of assigning rooms: Maximum allotment = maximum of last 4 year’s pickup + 3% Flow will be assigned based on your chapter’s average pickup for the past 4 years We are happy to work to accommodate increases in your room block once your chapter has sold out of rooms but, not until then. Please note, overflow rooms may NOT be in your initially assigned hotel. To provide as many chapters access to the most sought after hotels, there is little flexibility over the allotted blocks. If you have someone at an overflow property, they can always be added to the waitlist to move to your chapter hotel – contact CMR to be added and keep updated on the status. We are providing a 8-week period for your members to book in your assigned block. The rooming list deadline is August 1st. Once Chapters release rooms after that deadline, we can start helping those on the waitlist and those needing additional inventory. If you needed smaller sleeping suites, its possible the hotel did not provide enough inventory to accommodate every Chapter’s needs. Please contact CMR if you need to discuss suite options, and we also suggest you utilize the waitlist as opportunities often arise after the rooming list deadline If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to meetings@necanet.org  Visit Convention Site National Electrical Contractors Association, 1201 Pennsylvania Ave. NW Suite 1200, Washington, D.C. 20004, United States, 202-991-6300 Unsubscribe Manage preferences |
