White House announces infrastructure priorities, permit updates

The Trump administration laid out its infrastructure priorities last week — key among them permitting overhaul and speeding up construction. “We want to streamline the rules and regulations around what you do as much as possible,” Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said Thursday during an infrastructure conference, ahead of Congress’s Surface Transportation Reauthorization process later this fall. NECA Executive Committee Nominates Mark Walter for President

Pursuant to Article 8.3(b) of the National Bylaws, the name of Mark Walter of Portland, OR was placed in nomination for President by the NECA Executive Committee at its most recent meeting. Governors will vote on this nomination, along with other Officers, at their annual meeting in Chicago.

 

NECA Executive Committee Nominates Steve Stone for Vice President at Large

Pursuant to Article 8.3(d) of the National Bylaws, the name of Steve Stone of St. Louis, MO was placed in nomination for Vice President at Large by the NECA Executive Committee at its most recent meeting. Governors will vote on this nomination, along with other Officers, at their annual meeting in Chicago.

The terms of office for the following member officers will expire as of December 31, 2025, and elections for filling these offices will be held at the NECA Board of Governors meeting in Chicago.

Nominations for District Vice Presidents must be signed by a Governor from that District and sent in writing to the Secretary-Treasurer & CFO, Traci Walker, between the dates of July 14 and August 13.
