$2.5B tower completed in Times Square
A team of architects, designers and contractors have completed construction on the $2.5 billion mixed-use development known as TSX Broadway, a 47-story tower located on the site of an old Broadway theater in New York City at the corner of Seventh Avenue and 47th Street, according to a news release shared with Construction Dive from Mancini Duffy, the lead architect on the project. DOL Approved Inside, Installer-Tech, and Residential Standards

On July 10, the electrical training ALLIANCE received word that the U.S. DOL, Office of Apprenticeship, had approved the new boilerplate National Guideline Standards for the Inside Wireman, Installer-Technician, and Residential Apprenticeship Programs. (Sponsor’s Letter) The new boilerplate template has many pieces, and all of them will need to be reviewed by each JATC Committee, marked up, and sent for approval to the ETA first and then, once finalized by the ETA, sent back to the JATC to send to the Registration Agency.
