DOT awards $3.3B to reconnect communities, offers funding for other transportation projects
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg recommended that 14 large transit projects in 11 states receive nearly $4 billion in President Joe Biden’s fiscal year 2025 budget request to Congress. The FHA began accepting applications for $1.2 billion in funding to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions through the Low Carbon Transportation Materials program, which the Inflation Reduction Act established.
